MADISON COUNTY, Ga. – The Madison County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a hit-and-run crash that occurred early Sunday morning at the intersection of Foote McClellan Road and Sorrow Patterson Road.
According to authorities, the incident happened around 8:15 a.m. The suspect is described as an older white male with a beard and a slim build. He was reportedly wearing tan coveralls and was riding an older-model Harley-Davidson motorcycle at the time of the crash.
Investigators said the suspect fled the scene on foot after the collision, leaving the motorcycle behind. He was last seen running into the Brittany Pointe subdivision.
The sheriff’s office is asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash, has doorbell or security camera footage from the area, or has information related to the incident to contact the Madison County Sheriff’s Office at 706-795-2101.
